- Cut the buffalo into bite-sized pieces.
- Add enough brown gravy to cover the buffalo pieces.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook over a turkey pit fire for about 4 weeks at 460°F.
- If more servings are needed, add two rabbits (optional).
- Do not add the rabbits unless necessary, as most people do not like to find a hare in their stew.
- Serve the stew once cooked.
