Ingredients

  • 1 c. bulgur wheat
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube
  • 1 c. cooked broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. cumin

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water and vegetable bouillon cube to a boil.
  2. Add bulgur wheat and remove from heat.
  3. Let stand for 30 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and wheat is tender.
  4. Allow the bulgur to cool.
  5. Add cooked broccoli, ground flax seeds, sliced almonds, paprika, cumin, parsley, garlic powder, and prepared Italian dressing.
  6. Toss gently to combine and transfer to a serving dish.
