Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 to 3 eggs
  • chopped onion
  • 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. This will be a lot like a meat loaf.
  3. Now take 3/4 of it and roll it out on wax paper like a pie crust.
  4. Place it in a baking dish, about 9 x 11-inch.
  5. Bring it up on the sides just like a pie crust.
  6. Now layer slices of potatoes, carrots, peas or green beans in there and top with the remaining meat mixture, rolled out only smaller to fit the top.
  7. Seal it as best you can, leaving a little crack for a small amount of steam to come out.
  8. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
  9. (This is a whole meal, except the salad, and the flavor is really good.)
  10. Don't forget to drain off the fat before serving!
