Butterscotch cinnamon rolls feature soft dough topped with pecans, rich butterscotch pudding, and cinnamon, creating a sweet, nutty treat perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg chopped pecans
  • 1 (3 oz) pkg butterscotch pudding (not instant)
  • 1 pkg (24) frozen dough balls
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle chopped pecans in an 8 x 13-inch pan, then sprinkle butterscotch pudding over the pecans.
  2. Next, sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top.
  3. Place the frozen dough balls on top of the pecans and pudding mixture.
  4. Melt oleo (margarine or butter) and brown sugar together; pour this mixture over the rolls.
  5. Cover the pan with Saran Wrap and let it set in the refrigerator overnight.
  6. The next morning, bake the rolls at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. Turn the rolls upside down onto a platter when removed from the oven.
