Ingredients

  • 1 small box butterscotch pudding
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup undiluted evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon oleo
  • 1 1/4 cups walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mix the butterscotch pudding and sugar together in a saucepan.
  2. Slowly pour in the undiluted evaporated milk while stirring.
  3. Add the oleo and stir constantly over medium heat.
  4. Bring the mixture to a full boil.
  5. Lower the heat and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and add the walnuts.
  7. Beat until the mixture thickens slightly.
  8. Drop teaspoonfuls onto aluminum foil to cool.
