Ingredients

  • 1 qt sour pickles, drained and sliced in 1/2-inch pieces
  • 3 pods garlic, chopped fine
  • 1 tsp pickling spice
  • 3 c sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained and sliced sour pickles with chopped garlic, pickling spice, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Let the mixture set at room temperature.
  3. Stir the mixture every night and morning for 3 days.
  4. Transfer the candied pickles back into a jar and refrigerate.
