Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Bring sugar and sour cream to a boil.
  2. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Add pecan halves and stir until they are coated with the sugar mixture.
  6. When the coating begins to set, spread the candied pecans on a cookie sheet to cool.
