Ingredients

  • 3 medium carrots, scraped and sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley

Instructions

  1. Place carrots in a pan with melted butter, sliced onions, salt, parsley, and brown sugar.
  2. Cover closely and simmer over very low flame for 20 to 25 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
