Canned Fish Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 (14 3/4 ounce) can salmon or (14 3/4 ounce) can mackerel, undrained ⓘ
- 1 cup crushed soda cracker crumbs (about 24) ⓘ
- 1/2 cup milk ⓘ
- 1 cup onion, chopped or diced
- 1 egg, beaten ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons melted butter ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon crushed basil ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
- Press mixture into a lightly greased 9x5 loaf pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until done.
- Let stand 10 minutes before attempting to slice.
