Caramel Chex Mix
A sweet and crunchy treat featuring caramel-coated Chex cereal and pecans, perfect for snacking, parties, or holiday gatherings, combining rich caramel flavor with crispy textures.

- Melt the caramels with 1/4 cup of water in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
- In a large bowl, mix the Rice Chex and Corn Chex together.
- Pour the melted caramel over the cereal mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Add pecans if desired and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and stir the mixture to break apart clumps.
- Return to the oven and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let cool completely in the pan.
- Break into pieces and serve.
