Delicious caramel coffee rolls feature soft dough topped with a rich butterscotch and nut filling, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings with warm, sweet, and nutty flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Rhodes frozen rolls
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch pudding (not instant)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan well.
  2. Place approximately 15 frozen Rhodes rolls in the prepared pan and sprinkle with dry butterscotch pudding mix.
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts until well mixed.
  4. Cook the mixture over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the rolls in the pan.
  6. Cover tightly and let set overnight at room temperature.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes in the morning.
  8. Let the rolls stand for 5 minutes, then invert the pan onto wax paper while still hot to serve.
