Caramel Popcorn(Candy)

Instructions
- Put butter in 1 1/2-quart dish.
- Microwave on High 1 minute. Stir in sugar, syrup and salt.
- Cover and microwave on High 4 minutes.
- Remove from oven, stir in soda and vanilla.
- Pour over popcorn.
- Stir until all is coated and no sugar mixture remains in dish.
- Cook popcorn on High for 2 1/2 minutes.
- Stir well after each minute.
- Remove from oven.
- Spread in a lightly buttered 15 x 10-inch pan until cool.
- Break into chunks.
