Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 2 level Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  2. Beat egg into the milk and stir in the dry ingredients just enough to blend all the ingredients.
  3. Bake at 400° in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan until done (approximately 40 to 45 minutes).
