Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. crushed dried sweet basil

Instructions

  1. Peel and shred the carrots.
  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish.
  3. Add water, salt, parsley flakes, and crushed dried basil to the melted butter.
  4. Stir the mixture into the shredded carrots.
  5. Microwave on High power for 15 to 17 minutes.
  6. Stir the mixture twice during the cooking time.
