Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 c. shredded raw carrots
  • 1 Tbsp. grated onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add shredded raw carrots and grated onion.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour in dry white wine.
  5. Cover and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes until carrots are tender.
  6. Add chopped parsley, if desired.
