Ingredients

  • 1 c. dark brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. molasses
  • 4 tsp. ginger
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. melted shortening
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together (add enough self-rising flour to make stiff dough).
  2. Bake at 350°.
