Cauliflower With Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 head fresh cauliflower
  • 1/2 c. chopped ham
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Break cauliflower into florets and cook in slightly salted water until almost tender.
  2. Arrange layers of cauliflower, ham and cheese, alternately, in buttered baking dish, reserving some cheese for top.
  3. Blend egg yolks, flour, salt and cream.
  4. Pour over layers.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake at 325° until egg mixture thickens, about 25 minutes.
  7. Serves 6.
