Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 c. caushaw

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into crusts.
  2. Bake 20 minutes at 450°; reduce heat to 400° and bake until firm.
  3. Makes two 9-inch pies.
