Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and milk in a saucepan; cook over medium heat until thick.
  2. Chill in refrigerator while baking cake.
  3. Cream together with electric mixer until fluffy the Crisco, margarine, sugar, and vanilla.
  4. Add the cooled flour paste and beat well.
