Ingredients

  • 2 tart apples
  • 1/2 c. walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. sweet Passover wine

Instructions

  1. Core apples (it is not necessary to peel them).
  2. Chop apples and walnuts together in food processor or blender or by hand until finely chopped.
  3. With a wooden spoon, stir in the cinnamon, honey and wine.
  4. This will serve 10 to 12 people when serving 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon per person on a piece of matzoh.
