Cheese bread cubes are crispy, cheesy bites with a savory flavor, perfect as an appetizer or snack for gatherings and casual occasions.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. butter, softened
  • 2 jars Old English cheese spread
  • 2 loaves French bread

Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts off the French bread.
  2. Cut the bread into 2-inch squares and freeze them.
  3. Mix the cheese spread into the softened butter until well combined.
  4. When the bread is frozen, spread the cheese mixture on all sides but the bottom of each cube and return to the freezer.
  5. Just before serving, bake the bread cubes at 400°F for 15 minutes, watching carefully.
  6. Serve with salsa, soup, or as a snack.
