Cheese-Burger Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 1 tall can pork and beans (48 oz.)
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Scramble-fry ground beef and drain.
  2. Mix beans, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and salt.
  3. Then combine with ground beef.
  4. Place in casserole dish and bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  5. Cover with grated cheese and bake for additional 5 minutes for cheese to melt. Serve with cornbread.
