Cheese Puff Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese*
  • garlic powder to taste (I use 3/4 tsp.)
  • 1 loaf very thin sliced Pepperidge Farm white bread

Instructions

  1. Roll out white bread.
  2. Spread with Cheez Whiz.
  3. Add asparagus spear.
  4. Roll up in bread.
  5. Brush with butter.
  6. Cut into 1-inch squares.
  7. Bake in broiler until brown.
