Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup oleo
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Melt oleo in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan in the oven.
  3. Stir in garlic powder.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix Bisquick, water, and cheese until a soft dough forms.
  5. Gently shape into a ball.
  6. Knead the dough 5 times and roll into a 10 x 6-inch rectangle.
  7. Cut the rectangle lengthwise in half.
  8. Cut each half into 12 sticks about 3/4-inch wide.
  9. Roll each stick in the oleo mixture in the pan.
  10. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden.
