Ingredients

  • 2 beaten eggs
  • all-purpose flour
  • bread crumbs
  • Mozzarella cheese, cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Put beaten eggs, all-purpose flour, and bread crumbs in separate bowls.
  2. Dip each mozzarella cheese strip into the egg, then the flour, then the egg again, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
  3. Place the coated cheese strips on a baking sheet lined with wax paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil to 375°F in a deep fryer or large pot.
  5. Fry the mozzarella strips until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
