Cherries Jubilee is a delightful dessert featuring layered pineapple, cherry filling, and a buttery cake topping, baked to perfection and topped with chopped pecans for added crunch. Ideal for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 box Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. Spread drained crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Add cherry pie filling over the pineapple layer.
  4. Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.
  5. Melt margarine (or butter) and pour it evenly over the cake mix.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
