Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using homemade chicken broth instead of water for boiling the hen. If you need a vegetarian option, you can substitute the chicken with a mix of cooked lentils or chickpeas. Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or carrots for added nutrition. Adjust the hot sauce to your preference for heat. This dish can also be enhanced with fresh herbs like parsley or thyme.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Chicken Wiggle warm, garnished with fresh herbs for a pop of color. This dish pairs beautifully with a Mixed Vegetable Salad or Cold Pasta Salad for a balanced meal. A side of crusty bread or cornbread would also complement it well. Consider a light dessert like Mandarin Orange Jello Salad to finish the meal.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, add a splash of chicken broth or water to prevent drying out and microwave in 30-second intervals until heated through. Alternatively, you can reheat on the stove over low heat, stirring occasionally until warm.
