Cherry Angel Delight
A light, fluffy cherry-flavored dessert with layers of angel food cake, creamy topping, and cherry pie filling, perfect for parties and special occasions.

- Blend the granulated sugar with the cream cheese until smooth; fold in the whipped topping. Tint with red food coloring if desired.
- Split the angel food cake into 3 layers.
- Spread a small amount of topping and some cherry pie filling on the first layer.
- Place the second layer on top and repeat with remaining topping and cherry pie filling, reserving about 2/3 of the pie filling for garnish.
- Place the third layer on top and frost the entire cake with the remaining topping.
- Carefully spoon the remaining cherry pie filling on top of the frosted cake.
- Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight before serving.
