Ingredients

  • 0.3 oz. sugar-free cherry gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 prepared angel food cake (10-inch)
  • 20 oz. can light cherry pie filling
  • 8 oz. carton frozen nonfat whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Dissolve cherry gelatin in boiling water; refrigerate for 15 minutes until partially set.
  2. Place half of the angel food cake cubes in a 3-quart trifle or serving bowl.
  3. Top with half of the prepared gelatin and half of the cherry pie filling.
  4. Repeat layers with remaining cake cubes, gelatin, and cherry pie filling.
  5. Top with thawed whipped topping.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
