Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. fat, melted
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. maraschino cherry juice
  • 1/4 c. chopped cherries

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients.
  2. Combine egg and milk.
  3. Add fat to dry ingredients.
  4. Stir until dry ingredients are barely moistened. Fill muffin pan 2/3 full of batter.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until brown.
