Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time.
  3. Mix well. Add flour, nuts and vanilla. Put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, well greased and dusted with flour. Bake in a 350° oven for about 30 minutes.
  4. (Don't overcook or they won't be chewy.)
