Tender chicken baked in a tangy, sweet and savory sauce with soy, pineapple juice, and ginger, perfect for family dinners or casual gatherings with bold flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 or 2 chickens, cut up

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except chicken.
  2. Wash chicken and pat dry.
  3. Place chicken in a baking pan and pour the sauce mixture over it.
  4. Bake uncovered at 325°F for 1 1/4 hours.
  5. Baste the chicken twice during baking.
