Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) loaf frozen white bread dough
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded Jack cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. diced green chiles

Instructions

  1. Allow dough to thaw at room temperature.
  2. On a lightly floured board, roll the dough out to a 14 x 12-inch rectangle.
  3. Brush the dough with 1 tablespoon of melted butter and sprinkle with shredded Jack cheese and diced green chiles.
  4. Beginning from the long side, tightly roll the dough up jelly roll fashion.
  5. Place the seam side down on a baking sheet, pinching the ends together to form an oval shape.
  6. Using a sharp knife or scissors, cut slashes in the dough at 1-inch intervals.
  7. Brush the dough with the remaining melted butter.
  8. Allow the loaf to rise until doubled in size.
  9. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
  10. Remove from the pan immediately and allow to cool on a wire rack.
