Ingredients

  • 2 c. elbow macaroni
  • 1 (15 oz.) can chili (no beans)
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomatoes with green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, finely chopped
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 to 2 c. shredded Cheddar or American cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni until al dente, then drain.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the chili, drained tomatoes with green chilies, chopped green pepper, sliced green onions, and seasoned salt over medium heat until heated through, stirring frequently.
  3. Reserve 1/4 cup of shredded cheese for topping.
  4. Arrange the cooked macaroni on a serving platter.
  5. Pour the hot chili mixture over the macaroni.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
