Chili Beans(Microwave)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
  • 1 can kidney beans (15 oz., undrained)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder

Instructions

  1. Crumble beef in 2-quart casserole.
  2. Stir in onion and green pepper.
  3. Cover with glass lid.
  4. Cook in oven (microwave) on High for 6 minutes.
  5. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Re-cover. Cook 20 to 25 minutes on Medium.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes.
