Crispy, spicy chili nuts combine toasted almonds or walnuts with smoky chili powder, perfect for snacking at parties or as a flavorful appetizer for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. almonds

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter over low heat in a frying pan large enough to avoid crowding.
  2. Stir to coat the nuts and shake the pan over low heat for 8 or 10 minutes.
  3. Turn onto paper towels to drain, then sprinkle with 2 teaspoons of chili powder.
  4. Toss until coated and serve warm.
