Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground round (lean)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium green bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 packs chili seasonings
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown meat in 2 tablespoons oleo, add chopped onion and bell pepper in slow cooker or large stew pot.
  2. Have 16 ounce can of tomatoes, 15 ounce can of tomato sauce plus one can of water, add meat, onion and bell pepper mix to stew pot.
  3. Add the 2 packs of chili seasonings, salt and pepper.
  4. Cook 1 to 2 hours.
