Ingredients

  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • peel of 1 orange, cut in spiral
  • 8 whole cloves

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine apple juice or cider, cinnamon sticks, orange peel, and whole cloves.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Let stand until cool.
  5. Skim froth from the top and chill well.
