Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. French-style string beans
  • 1 pkg. green peas
  • 1 pkg. whole kernel corn
  • 2 fresh carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 peppers (red or green)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup vegetable water

Instructions

  1. Cook the string beans, green peas, and whole kernel corn until tender.
  2. Slice the carrots and celery thinly on the diagonal.
  3. Cut the peppers into strips and chop or slice the onion.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked vegetables and sliced vegetables.
  5. Add vinegar, oil, and vegetable water to the mixture.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and dill or oregano to taste.
  7. Toss everything well to coat evenly and serve.
