Chinese Beef Oriental

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. lean beef
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. Chinese-style vegetables
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • rice

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, water, cornstarch and sugar in bowl.
  2. Add thin sliced cut beef.
  3. Stir to coat and marinate 5 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in skillet and add beef (including marinade); stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Add frozen vegetables.
  6. Cover and cook 5 minutes over medium heat.
  7. Remove cover and simmer 2 minutes, while stirring gently.
  8. Serve with rice.
