Tender Chinese-style spareribs with a savory soy and m.s.g. marinade, perfect for a flavorful main dish that pairs well with fried rice and pineapple chunks.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. spareribs
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. m.s.g.

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, sugar, and m.s.g. in a bowl.
  2. Cut ribs in two pieces and wash.
  3. Marinate ribs in the soy sauce mixture for at least 2 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Place ribs on a broiling rack and cook for 1 hour.
  6. Turn ribs over halfway through cooking.
  7. Serve ribs with fried rice and pineapple chunks.
