Ingredients

  • 2 cups buttermilk baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix milk, egg, and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth.
  2. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  3. Heat a heavy skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  4. Lightly grease the skillet or griddle.
  5. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet in the shape of a heart.
  6. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the edges are dry, then flip and cook until golden brown.
