Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients well.
  2. Melt margarine in 9 x 12-inch pan.
  3. Spoon batter over margarine; don't mix.
  4. Mix 1 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa.
  5. Sprinkle over batter.
  6. Pour boiling water over top of pan.
  7. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  8. Good over vanilla ice cream.
