Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg. chocolate pudding (not instant)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate pudding, sugar, brown sugar, and milk in a saucepan.
  2. Blend well and cook over low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Continue cooking without stirring to a full boil.
  4. Boil for 3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and add the butter.
  6. Beat at once until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  7. Pour into a greased 9 x 5-inch pan and chill.
