Ingredients

  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 c. water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Sift together first 5 ingredients into an ungreased 9 x 9 x 2 pan.
  3. Add vinegar, vanilla, oil and water. Blend only with a fork; do not beat.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Frost with sour cream white frosting.
