Ingredients

  • 2 qt. green tomatoes
  • 2 red sweet peppers
  • 1 red hot pepper (seeds out)
  • 1 pt. chopped onions
  • 1 pt. vinegar
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. salt (scant)
  • 1/2 box mixed spices, in bag

Instructions

  1. Grind green tomatoes, cover with water, bring to a boil and drain.
  2. Simmer with remaining ingredients 1/2 hour.
  3. Put in hot jars; seal.
