Ingredients

  • 40 oz. frozen whole strawberries or 2 1/2 qt. fresh strawberries
  • 1 lb. fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 2 pouches liquid fruit pectin (3 oz. each)

Instructions

  1. Grind strawberries and cranberries in a food processor or grinder.
  2. Place the ground fruit in a large kettle.
  3. Add sugar to the kettle.
  4. Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil.
  5. Boil for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add liquid fruit pectin and stir.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes.
  9. Skim off any foam from the surface.
  10. Pour hot jam into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch headspace.
  11. Adjust jar caps.
  12. Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes.
