- 50 to 60 pickling cucumbers

Instructions
- Wash and chop 50 to 60 pickling cucumbers into 1/4 to 3/4 inch slices and put into a 5-gallon stone jar.
- Mix 2 cups pickling salt with 1 gallon boiling water and pour over the cucumbers.
- Ensure that the cucumbers are completely submerged in the brine.
- Add more brine mixture until the cucumbers are fully covered, using an upside-down plate to keep them submerged if necessary.
- Let stand for 7 complete days.
