Ingredients

  • 1 yellow Jiffy cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 package yeast
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 stick butter
  • sugar
  • cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Stir the cake mix, warm water, yeast, and flour together. Cover and let rise for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  2. Roll out the dough into a 12 x 18-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Melt the butter and spread it evenly over the dough.
  4. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the buttered surface.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly and slice into 1.5 to 2-inch thick pieces.
  6. Place the slices on a baking sheet or dish with space between each roll.
  7. Cover and let rise for another 2 hours or overnight.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Drizzle powdered sugar glaze over the warm rolls after baking.
