Ingredients

  • 8 oz. linguine
  • 3 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions, omitting the salt.
  2. Drain and set it aside.
  3. Saute garlic in melted butter in a large skillet.
  4. Drain clams; add juice to the skillet and bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat.
  5. Add clams and cheese; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
  6. Pour sauce over linguine and add parsley.
  7. Toss gently and serve.
